At Stella Moon, we are committed to making a positive impact on the world. While the ethical and sustainable practices across our business may not yet be perfect, we are dedicated to constantly improving how we operate our business and production processes.

Our small Hong Kong studio, where we produce every single piece, is fit with large open windows that filter plenty of natural light, and this helps us reduce our energy usage throughout the day. We are always using safe practices when cutting fabric and notions, dying elastics or using our machines.
As we cut everything in-house, this means that our fabric wastage is very minimal and we always use our scraps where we can, and as much as we can, to further limit our waste. Often only one or two types of lace are used for multiple different designs within the collection so we are able to order our fabric in small controlled quantities and this way we are not risking large leftover wastage at the end of a season.
We don't want our packaging to contribute to waste, so we use all recycled paper and cardboard in this process and our packaging boxes are easily reusable. We're also very happy to be using Grounded Packaging compostable mailer bags to send out your orders in. These simply break down into water, carbon dioxide and organic matter in your household compost bin. Meaning there is even less wastage in our packaging process to be sent to landfill!
We are more than just another intimates label. Your Stella Moon pieces from start to finish, have been thoughtfully designed and carefully executed to a high quality standard. These intimates are designed to be lived in. Intimates that will last you for years to come when cared for correctly. They are pieces that will grow with you and evolve as your body may change and this reduces the need to purchase more that may end up in landfill. We don't follow fast fashion and are proud of our slow fashion efforts. By considering our clothing options with more intention, we lessen our wastage.
Stay tuned as we continue to improve our sustainability efforts.
